Welcome to the online help of Excel CAPE-OPEN Thermo Import, which allows for using CAPE-OPEN based thermodynamic servers directly in Excel. Excel CAPE-OPEN Thermo Import supports accessing compounds, constant compound properties, temperature dependent compound properties, phases, mixture properties, two phase properties and phase equilibria.
After installation, a CAPE-OPEN Thermo ribbon is added to Excel. To import a CAPE-OPEN Property Package, click the + button in the Property Package group. See Property Packages for more information.
Next, insert functions from the ribbon. Use the Excel formula editor to get assistence with modifying function arguments after they have been inserted.
The Excel CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation requires a working version of Microsoft Excel, version 2010 or higher, to be installed at your system. In addition, you will need one or more CAPE-OPEN 1.1 compliant thermodynamic servers on your computer.
