setParameter

setParameter is used to set the value for a defined parameter. It is most useful for output parameters, but it can also be used to set the current value of an input parameter.

Syntax

setParameter(parameterName,value)

Arguments

parameterName
String; name of the parameter for which to set the value for. The parameter must be defined for this unit operation.

value
New value of the parameter. The data type of the value must correspond to the type of the parameter. Use a scalar value for boolean parameters, for which any non-zero value means True.

Examples

» setParameter('heat duty',deltaH)

» setParameter('Regime','Turbulent')
